Our Mission

It is the goal of the Kaufman ISD Band Program to empower its students with the foundation for a lifetime of musical enrichment. Individuals will be given the opportunity to develop physically, socially, musically, and academically. Our organization is dedicated to a standard of excellence and a promotion of dignity. Through our commitment and dedication, we will help develop the whole child.

Band Program At-A-Glance

The Kaufman ISD Band program consists of students from three different schools. We have 5th and 6th grade bands at Lucille Nash Intermediate School, Symphonic and Concert Bands at O. P. Norman Junior High School, and The Lions' Roar Marching Band and Symphonic Band at the High School. Both the Junior High and High School Bands offer Jazz Ensembles. All of the ensembles perform multiple times each year for large audiences.
